For this client, digital marketing plays a central role in how new opportunities are generated. Their audience is highly specific: qualified solicitors who are employed within other firms but are considering setting up independently. For many of those professionals, the appeal of independence is clear, but so are the barriers. Professional indemnity fees, insurance costs, office overheads and the wider practical burden of running a business can all make that next step feel risky.
The client’s solicitor consultant programme offers an alternative route, allowing qualified solicitors to work under their legal umbrella rather than taking on every operational and regulatory responsibility alone. The challenge was making sure that offer remained visible to the right people after initial interest had already been shown.
For this client, the priority was not just generating awareness. It was sustaining momentum after prospects had already interacted with the offer.
The business was already reaching prospective solicitors through channels such as job sites and LinkedIn, where the proposition could be introduced to people actively considering a career move or a more independent way of working. But as with many specialist services, not every interested user is ready to take action immediately. Someone may engage with an ad, visit a landing page or click through to learn more, then leave to reflect, compare options or simply return to the demands of their day.
Without a follow-up strategy, that interest can quickly be lost.
The client therefore needed creative assets that could support remarketing activity and keep their proposition in front of users who had already shown intent. These adverts needed to work across third-party websites that sell advertising space, using cookie-based audience signals to re-serve messaging to users who had previously engaged with campaign activity and guide them back to the landing page with a stronger chance of conversion.
There was also an important sector-specific requirement. Because the client operates within the legal space, all marketing outputs had to pass through a stringent sign-off process before publication. Creative needed to satisfy both marketing and legal review, which meant the adverts had to be commercially effective while also remaining accurate, appropriate and compliant.
We worked with the client to produce a set of animated banner adverts designed specifically for remarketing use.
These assets were created to support the wider campaign journey rather than function as standalone creative. Their purpose was to re-engage users who had already encountered the client’s offer through job boards, LinkedIn or related campaign activity, and remind them of the value of the solicitor consultant programme once they were browsing elsewhere online.
In practical terms, that meant producing animated display adverts suitable for third-party ad placements, with messaging and motion designed to catch attention quickly and direct users back to the relevant landing page. The creative was built around strong calls to action, concise copy and visually engaging movement, helping the client stay visible during the consideration stage rather than relying only on first-touch traffic sources.
Because the audience was professional and the sector highly regulated, the adverts also needed to strike the right balance. They had to be engaging enough to stand out in busy online environments, while still feeling credible, measured and appropriate to the legal market. Every output therefore had to work not just as marketing creative, but as approved communications material capable of passing both internal marketing scrutiny and legal checks before being greenlit for publication.
This gave the client a set of campaign assets that were not only visually effective, but also robust enough to operate within the realities of a more tightly controlled approval environment.
The client gained a purpose-built set of animated remarketing adverts that helped strengthen the continuity of their digital marketing.
Instead of allowing interested users to disappear after an initial click or landing page visit, the adverts helped bring those prospects back into the funnel. By re-serving the programme to people who had already demonstrated intent, the client was better able to maintain visibility, reinforce the offer and guide qualified traffic back to the landing page.
Just as importantly, the creative worked within the standards required of legal-sector marketing. The adverts were designed not only to perform commercially, but also to move successfully through a stringent sign-off process involving both marketing and legal review. That meant the client could continue their campaign activity with materials that were compliant, consistent and fit for publication.
The result was not just a set of animated banners, but a more effective remarketing layer within the wider campaign strategy, helping the client stay visible to the right audience and improve the chances of turning prior interest into meaningful enquiry.
